Sore Tummy Soup

I came home from the pool today, and just wasn’t feeling right.  When it seemed like something was going to settle in, I did a quick Google search to see if I could find something that would help.  And I did, and it did.

Sore Tummy Soup
1 fresh jalapeño chili
½ litre quart broth
1 small ripe avocado
1 Roma tomato - diced
1 tablespoons lime juice

Rinse and cut jalapeño in half lengthwise.  Into a small sauce pan, place jalapeño and broth.  Simmer 5 minutes, taste for seasoning, and simmer 5 minutes longer.
While broth is simmering, pit avocado, slice into manageable pieces (recipe says “thin slices or ½ inch cubes”) and dice tomato.  Add equal amounts of tomato and avocado into each of 2 bowls.

Add lime juice to broth.  Ladle broth into bowls.  Season to taste.
